Grand Prix number 2️⃣ done and dusted🙌🏼 Grand Prix number 2️⃣ done and dusted🙌🏼 New team, same goal, the conditions this weekend were definitely to the taste of everyone😎 From light conditions to a bit more wind everyone was able to have some epic conditions to race in 💨 9️⃣ races were validated over the weekend with some good fights out on the water, this weekend’s team consisted of @marie.mazu on the helm, @kilian_wagen on Mainsail, @elouangau as front sail trimmer and @alec_ardin as bowman! 💪🏼With not much training the team managed to fight their way to 5️⃣th place! Last weekend was the @cnversoix GP🤩 The team w Last weekend was the @cnversoix GP🤩 The team was absolutely on fire🔥 8️⃣races were validated in light and shifty winds💨 So eyes were wide open for any opportunity 👀 and also muscles were out as the gennaker was used for every upwind 💪🏼 But what a weekend it was! First of all, the team scored their first ever bullet🥇 and what a feeling that was🤗 And then the fight was intense in-between all the boats, how awesome is that🙌🏼 Closing the weekend in a 6️⃣th place!! And just like that the largest inland regatta of t And just like that the largest inland regatta of the world has come to an end🎬 The 8️⃣3️⃣rd edition was a very long one for all the boats that had the courage and motivation to get to that finish line🏁 Having light winds the whole way 💨 the team really had to have their eyes open👀 and especially know their home lake like the palm of their hand 🙌🏼 Amazing performance from the Swiss Foiling Academy by Spam team @axel.grandjean @alec_ardin @quentin_princivalle @monnier.julien @kilian_wagen , who stayed focused from the sound of the cannon 💣 to late in the night when they passed the finish line 🔥and a huge thank you to our sponsors who supported us all the way ❤️ Getting to the first mark in the Bouveret the team was placing 1️⃣1️⃣th overall! It was a light wind weekend for the team 💨 perfect to learn new skills like using the gennaker upwind, where some strength for furling is needed 💪🏼 The weekend was pretty full with a total of 7️⃣ races in 10-12kts on Saturday and 5-8kts on Sunday 🙌🏼 Placing the team in 7th overall, the learning curve for the Swiss Foiling Academy by Spam is still massive🔥 👉🏼We asked @lucienmaire what he thought about this weekend and this is what he said “Being able to sail on this Grand Prix was very rewarding for me. Welcome to our newest project, the M2 🔥 What a Welcome to our newest project, the M2 🔥 What am incredible week and weekend this has been for the Academy 😍 The amount of effort our young ones put into this boat for her to be out and about on the lake this weekend was astonishing 🙏🏼 Our first ever @m2speedtour event at the @yachtclubdegeneve was a bumpy ride as the team was figuring out the boat and sailing in a bigger crew!!
